The programme
A half-hour round-up of the week's UK crime — the cases that matter, and the ones where the public can still make a difference.
Every story is built from what police forces, the Crown Prosecution Service and the courts have published themselves. Where a case is still before the courts we report only the facts released by police, and nobody is called guilty until a jury says so.
For press offices
Every story is screened for active proceedings before it reaches a running order, and if a force asks for an item to be pulled we act the same day.
How we source material and how we handle cases before the courts: editorial standards. Press enquiries: press@crimesweekly.com.
