Between 27 May and 24 September 2026, Essex Police published the conviction and sentence of 70 people in its "Court and Convicted" news. 55 were sent to prison, including 2 for life, and the fixed prison terms add up to about 327 years.

This is what the force chose to publish, not every conviction in Essex — most magistrates' court cases never get a news release. Each entry links to the Essex Police release it comes from. People awaiting sentence are not included.
